Drewan Baird. Oudtshoorn. 20 July 2014. 19h15. Anton Bredell, The DA’s Western Cape secretary, has never failed to entertain me with his almost Goldwynian statements of stupidity.

Samuel Goldwyn, Polish-born American film producer, was notorious for statements like “I had a great idea this morning but I didn’t like it”. In Goldwyn’s defense many of the records appear to be apocraphal.

But Bredell…

Ye gods and faeries.

In a July 11 statement, in answer to an enquiry, Bredell told the Oudtshoorn Courant that Oudtshoorn has a budget, he is simply not happy with the way that it was approved.

The pregnant Sally is not pregnant because someone like Bredell is not happy with the intercourse that resulted in the pregnancy.

This, at least, is what staunch DA supporters want me to realise.

Nee kyk, nou het ek als gehoor.

  1. alles

Hierdie is ‘n politieke blog.
