I wrote Helen Zille:

Dear Helen

O, my dear Helen…

NOTHING poor David Maynier and Tim Harris could NOT have done can possibly match the damage of what Theuns and Anton DID do… and Theuns and Anton are on the panel criticising David and Tim!?

Ye gods and faeries!

No reply yet.

I am also fascinated by the words of the Unknown MP: “ We are just like the ANC, if not worse.”

I concur. And there is not even a velleity of malice in my concurrence. It’s just a fact. Plain and simple – the DA is just like the ANC, if not worse.

  1. This utterance does not suprize anyone- just look at the Eden District mayor Teflon Wessies behaviour and the DA’s lack of action!

  2. At least, some form of measurement takes place. But, if the process is flawed, well, that will mean internal strife. Internal strife will destroy, if not managed.

  3. Oh Dear!

Everybody has been asleep and now they’re waking up to the purge.

The signs have been there for a long time, but you did not notice because you were not (yet) personally targeted. Remember you voted these people into positions of power supporting the way the party is being run. Your political apathy is going to be your downfall…

As the good pastor is reported to have said all those years ago:

First they came for the communists,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

    Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.
