The DA’s Registrar: Federal Legal Commission; and Shadow Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development; and Constituency Head for Cape Metro wards 65, 66, 67, and 73; and a member of the Magistrates Commission; and a parliamentary whip, is not very consistent in her criticism…

I propose, in the light of your sporadic benignant reproofs of my reporting, that you also address the mainstream media’s coverage of the Stoffels v Van Wyk and others matter.
The media, on the strength also of your Councillor Chris MacPherson’s utterances, had been reporting that the matter was “scrapped from the role” by the DA’s intervention; and “placed back on the role” unilaterally by Speaker Stoffels.
In today’s local press, and also in Die Burger, your Minister Anton Bredell is quoted “Ek gaan ‘n gesprek voer met die regter in die saak…”
Does the DA have informal access to the bench excluding the other side?
Surely I am in error thinking that you will ignore media lapses when such oversights benefit the DA?
And surely you realise that O!O has a somewhat smaller readership than, say, Die Burger? At least currently…
You may also want to address the erroneous reporting three days running that Traverso J removed the matter on urgency.
Debbie has not answered.
As she has not answered about Wessie van der Westhuizen and Pierre Nel.
