Drewan Baird. Oudtshoorn. 29 April 2013. 13h35. The ANC Women’s League is outraged about the public display of panties alegedly belongling to the minister of basic education.

Such display impacts on women’s rights and fuels sexual violence, the League feels.

I wrote Jesse Duarte…

Dear Jesse

I see that ANCWL secretary Maleki Mokganyetsi is “dismayed” at the public display of intimate apparel allegedly from the lingerie collection of Angie Motshekga – a sizable item as the comrade unfortunately is not heeding Ms Zille’s call to cycling.

Mokganyetsi appears to be concerned about “sexual violence” that may be promoted by the display.

I wonder what Mokganyetsi will say when she learns that the ANC governs Oudtshoorn by a coalition with a convicted child rapist.

You will agree, Jesse, to be sure, that your alliance with Jeffrey Donson is more damaging than the public display of knickers!?

Your tolerance of Donson in the brutal name of power is sickening.

I’ll call on you to fix the problem, but I rather you not even think about Oudtshoorn again, seeing the royal mess you made of the Gordon April matter!

Is there someone, anyone, in the ANC that can address the outrage of the ANC-Icosa alliance!?

Yet another, proverbial, undergarment is showing!

I remain
