Oudtshoorn. 4 December 2012. 09h30. When Ward 2 voters go the the poll tomorrow morning, ousted Municipal Manager Lonwabo Ngoqo, having won the appeal against his dismissal, will be back at work – sharing a desk, no doubt, with the current MM, Allen Paulse.

Mayor Memory Booysen (shame, said Helen Zille on Sunday, he has only been at the helm for some 18 months and needs time) and his DA government failed to pay Ngoqo on November 30, in terms of the arbitration ruling.

Council and Ngoqo will probably settle sometime today, but, really, does anyone want Booysen and his band of bufoons in charge of Bitou – or in charge of an unused longdrop in the Richtersveldt, for that matter?

Get rid of the inept DA government tomorrow, voters of ward 2. And get rid of the mendacious, malevolent DA party machine!

It’s in your hands.
